Dr. Neneth Q. Pador (BSSW ’76) was recently awarded as Most Outstanding Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer by the Association of Local Social Welfare and Development Officers of the Phil., Inc. (ALSWDOPI). ALSWDOPI is a professional organization of provincial, city, and municipal social welfare and development officers in the country.
Dr. Pador was cited for her consistent and efficient delivery of distinct and innovative social welfare and development programs, projects and activities of the Province of Iloilo which contributed to possible impact, quality and sustainable results to the lives of her fellow constituents. The award was given during the 18th Annual National Forum and General Assembly of the association held at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center on April 22-25, 2014.
In that assembly, Pador was also elected as national president of the association together with another Centralian social worker, Lazaro Petinglay (BSSW 1989) as vice president for Visayas. Petinglay is the current Provincial Social Welfare and development Officer of the Province of Antique.
It was learned that this is the second time that Pador was given such accolade. The first one was in 2008. Dr. Pador is the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Officer of the Province of Iloilo.
